New Developments

         Lately, I have made some good progress towards my goals. Especially those that have to do with creating digital downloads. I bought an Adobe program called InDesign and it made me rewind back to my high school class known as Desktop Publishing. In this class we utilized Microsoft Office to develop flyers, menus, and other things for the school. This program is definitely more advanced, but in a good way. It will just take some time to learn. Ms. Davis would be so proud of me. I have started giving myself deadlines and goals towards my branding. ​It has really motivated me. Here is my very first creation that I created while trying to familiarize myself with the program. ​​

        A lot of this is researching, practicing, and brainstorming ideas. Self-teaching yourself to basically be a graphic designer(I wish I would have gone to college for this). Anyways, my bullet journal has really given me ideas in the realm of graphic design. Fonts are so specific and important in anything that you create. So that was my focus this weekend. Working on my fonts.

     My latest adventure while out shopping for decorations for an upcoming bachelorette party I'm throwing, I dropped into Michaels and found some TomBow Brush Pens on sale. Calligraphy is really hard, but it has actually been fun so far. Here is an example of my practice. I've even incorporated it into my bullet journal. This has definitely given me ideas for printable downloads in the future. ​
